Virtual World Portraits
In virtual worlds and virtual multiplayer games players create a persona or avatar to be their character. I am fascinated by the way people represent themselves. I make photographs of the avatars in virtual worlds, mainly Second Life. I use a virtual camera, props and lights and interview my models. From the raw photographs and interviews, I create these portraits. 2008-2021
